All-New Cervelo Aspero 5 + New Sram Force AXS
The all-new Aspero-5 was built for the front end of the race. 66 grams lighter than its predecessor, improved aerodynamics, downtube storage, and tire clearance up to 45mm. Equipped with Srams brand new Force drivetrain. The Aspero-5 is ready to race out of the box.
Shape of speed
One of the major improvements of the new Cervelo Aspero 5 is it's aerodynamic performance. 37 watts faster than its predecessor, Cervelo has delivered a gravel race bike with impressive aerodynamics from the frame to the stem and handlebar.
Weight
The new Aspero 5 is 66 grams lighter than its predecessor, despite adding a significant amount of surface area to improve the aerodynamic performance.
Mixed & matched tire geometry
Aspero 5 fits up to 45mm tires but the geo has been optimized for a 4mm tire width differential. When fitted with equally-sized tires, the handling is stable, confidence inspiring, and ready for the roughest courses. To increase aerodynamics even more, and sharpen handling for less-technical courses, you have the option of running a 4mm difference in tires (eg. 40mm front, 44mm rear) without interfereing with the bikes performance and handling.
Downtube storage
Cervelo has implemented their downtube storage door on the new Aspero 5. A light and aerodynamic system to put tubes, tools, and flat kit inside the frame.
New Sram Force AXS Drivetrain
The new Cervelo Aspero 5 is available with the new Sram Force drivetrain also released today. Sram has expanded their AXS line up to include Force and Rival. One-finger braking, refined ergonimics, faster shifting, and lighter weight add. Effortless perfromance on any terrain and in any condition.
A simpler setup, better braking with redesigned controls, and fully wireless 13-speed.
Full Mount Precision
Fast, precise shifting with easier setup. The Full Mount Force XPLR AXS derailleur removes hanger variances to provide perfect shifting with no adjustment screws.
Full Mount Resilience
Simpler and stronger, with no need for a derailleur hanger. Attaching to frames with the UDH interface, the Full Mount Force XPLR AXS rear derailleur centers on the rear axle for the ultimate impact resistance.
Effortless Braking
One-finger braking from anywhere you please, on any riding surface. Force brakes require 80% less effort when braking from the hoods, and 33% less effort from the drops. Brake with more comfort, control, and power than ever before.
Superior Chain Management
Push as hard as you want, and your chain will always be in the right place. Even on the toughest terrain, the 1x-specific design of the Force XPLR AXS derailleur and its incredibly strong clutch will keep your chain running securely and smoothly.
Rebuild, Replace and Repeat
The Force XPLR AXS rear derailleur’s incredible robustness will keep you rolling after most impacts, but it features several key replaceable parts for when you hit the deck too hard.
