Long-distance riders often encounter a wide range of conditions, so a lightweight layer that is both warm and packable is essential. The Brevet Insulated Gilet is made with recycled Polartec Alpha insulation to provide exceptional warmth and breathability so you won't overheat during harder efforts. The gilet features reflective detailing for visibility, and a water-shedding DWR (durable water repellent) coating for added protection in rain showers. Thanks to the hydrophobic properties of the insulation, the gilet won't saturate in the same way that natural down insulation will, and is quick drying too. Mesh side panels stretch to fit over full pockets while a two-way zip allows you to open the gilet from the top or the bottom.
