Long-distance riders often encounter a wide range of conditions, so a lightweight layer that is both warm and packable is essential. The Brevet Insulated Gilet is made with recycled Polartec Alpha� insulation to provide exceptional warmth and breathability so you won�t overheat during harder efforts. The gilet features reflective detailing for visibility, and a water-shedding DWR (durable water repellent) coating for added protection in rain showers. Thanks to the hydrophobic properties of the insulation, the gilet won�t saturate in the same way that natural down insulation will, and is quick drying too. Mesh side panels stretch to fit over full pockets while a two-way zip allows you to open the gilet from the top or the bottom.
