Less stink = less washing which makes for a more environmentally friendly product and less work. Here's a few simple steps to help keep your Merino socks, tops and bottoms looking as great as they feel. Be sure to check the tag on each garment for best results.
- Turn socks and garments inside out.
- Machine wash on gentle cycle in warm or cool water. Do not use hot water
- Use mild soap. Do not bleach or fabric softener. Bleach will destroy the Merino wool fibres, fabric softener coates the fibres preventing their ability to manage moisture.
- It's recommended to air dry merino product. You can tumble dry most Smartwool Merino on a low setting.
