Van Rysel Road Bikes

Born in the wind, cold and cobblestones of Northern France, Van Rysel has arrived in Canada. Van Rysel road bikes are built for riders who crave performance, precision, and value in every ride. Designed in France and trusted by competitive cyclists around the world, Van Rysel bikes deliver a race-ready experience with lightweight carbon frames, aerodynamic designs, and high-quality components. Whether you’re chasing personal bests, training for your next event, or simply love the feel of speed on open roads, Van Rysel bikes blend efficiency and comfort for an exceptional ride. Coming soon to The Bike Shop, you can experience the craftsmanship and innovation that make Van Rysel a standout name in modern road cycling.

RCR-R

Lightweight, performance road bike that combines speed, comfort, and aerodynamics.

Van Rysel RCR-R

Developed in collaboration with the French National Aerospace Research Center (ONERA), the RCR makes no compromises.

It was designed with a single purpose: to win.
Whether amateur or professional, the RCR meets every demand and delivers a spectacular energy return. Give it WATTS, and it will propel you to the next level.

Aerodynamics are highly important for gaining speed of course, but also for reducing effort while maintaining performance. Van Rysel carried out CFD (Computational Fluid Mechanics) optimization, in which ONERA is at the world's leading level, to design the most aerodynamic curves.

Weight optimization is the second fundamental pillar of RCR performance and has therefore focused all the attention. During its design, the RCR lost weight on the frame but also on the ancillary parts by extracting material from targeted areas thanks to topological analyses. The pursuit of lightness was surgical in creating this racing machine. Each part was designed to be as light as possible.

Van Rysel worked on its design with the goal of creating a bike with the most efficient energy return. It develops a spectacular feeling of propulsion. To achieve this result, they sourced the best carbon fibers in the world from Japan. Van Rysel have meticulously placed them in strategic locations to obtain this additional rigidity which thus generates this effect so specific to RCR.

RCR-F

One of the most aerodynamic bikes in the peloton. Built for pure speed that combines aerodynamics, stiffness, and performance.

Van Rysel RCR-F

The RCR-F Pro was designed to be the fastest bike in the peloton.
To achieve this, three key aspects were optimized: aerodynamics, stability, and stiffness.

As a result, it delivers outstanding performance at very high speeds and will carry you to victory.

More than two years of design, numerous back-and-forths between the development workshops, CFD analysis, and wind tunnel testing, all led to the creation of an aerodynamic masterpiece.

13 watts compared to the RCR at 45 km/h. Such performance places it among the most aerodynamic bikes in the peloton—likely the best.

The engineers at VAN RYSEL also collaborated with SWISS SIDE, an expert in aerodynamics.

VAN RYSEL engineers designed the RCR-F Pro to dominate sprints. Thanks to strategic reinforcements with 60T carbon fiber at the front of the frame, you’ll overtake your competitors in the final meters.

The RCR-F Pro is 7% stiffer than the RCR in this key area, ensuring optimal power transfer.

The centerpiece: The Van Rysel bar stem combo was exclusively designed for the RCR-F Pro. Just like the frame, it went through all the CFD and wind tunnel design phases, saving more than 2.7 watts compared to the RCR combo. Made in the workshops of Italian artisan Deda, it embodies excellence and performance.

EDR CF Ultra

Designed for comfort on long rides. The perfect balance between comfort, efficiency, and performance.

Van Rysel EDR CF Ultra

When distance becomes a playground.
Designed for long rides, the new EDR CF ULTRA strikes the perfect balance between comfort, efficiency, and performance. Built for endurance, ready to take on hours in the saddle.

Ultra-distance isn’t always about smooth, perfectly paved roads. Sometimes, it means taking worn paths or gravel tracks between fields. The frame clears tires up to 38 mm wide, perfect for adapting to whatever terrain lies ahead.

The frame geometry has been designed specifically for long-distance riding. Compared to a pure race bike, the cockpit is slightly higher to promote a more upright position, without compromising the bike’s dynamic feel when the pace picks up.

The new EDR CF ULTRA frame is 6% lighter than the previous generation, weighing just 830 g in size M. Built with high-modulus carbon, it delivers even greater responsiveness.
