A good fat bike should have huge tire clearance. They should also have extremely low gearing because it takes a lot of torque to plow through deep snow or sand.

You can really ride a fat tire bike anywhere! The most common places to find them though are for riding in the snow and a select few who will use them as sand bikes as well. For riding bikes in the snow, nothing beats a fat bike!

Use your fat bike in the winter for commuting to work, around the community, or areas that are groomed for it!

Fat tires allow for incredible grip as well as the ability to run super low tire pressure. The massive tires plow through snow and retain traction on ice. The main advantage is that you get to ride a bike all year round! The large tires provide a massive contact point on the ground at all times which optimizes traction on slippery sections of your ride.
